A Simkl alternative for shows, anime and movies

Episodely reads your Simkl CSV backup and brings back shows, anime and movies with their status and ratings. On top of that, comments live under each episode and stay hidden until you've watched it, anime show the series' absolute number (E414), and the site speaks 13 languages.

How to switch

  1. Download your Simkl backup. Sign in on simkl.com and open simkl.com/apps/backup/: download your library backup as CSV.
  2. Upload it to Episodely. Sign in and pick the CSV file from the import in Home or Settings.
  3. Find your library. Shows, anime and movies come over with their status, the last episode you watched and your 1 to 10 ratings.
  4. Read the summary. The TVDB, TMDB and IMDb IDs in the backup match the titles. If one can't be matched with confidence, the summary tells you.
