Community Guidelines
Episodely is a place to talk about TV shows and movies without unwanted spoilers or toxicity. These rules apply to comments, reactions, public lists, and profile names.
1. Mutual Respect
No harassment, hate speech, discrimination (race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability), or threats. Disagreement is fine, aggression is not.
2. Spoilers
Episode comments are protected by the Spoiler Shield and only visible to users who marked the episode as watched. Still, avoid revealing future plot twists in public list titles or profile names.
3. Prohibited Content
- Spam, malicious links, or unsolicited advertising
- Sexually explicit content or content unsuitable for a general audience
- Copyrighted material posted without authorization (see our Copyright Policy)
- Impersonating other users or staff members
4. Images in Comments
You can attach a screenshot to a comment. Every image goes through an automated check before it's published: if it's rejected we tell you, with the reason. The check blocks when it isn't sure, so it can turn down a harmless image — write to support@episodely.tv if that happens.
The rules: one image per comment, no sexual content or explicit violence, no images of other people without their consent. In show-level comments images start out blurred, because there's no episode there to act as a Spoiler Shield.
5. Reports and Moderation
Every comment has a "Report" button. Reports are reviewed by the team; violating content is removed and, for repeated violations, the account may be suspended. You can also block individual users from their comment to stop seeing their content.
